Dr. Amanda Leon is passionate about helping others feel their best and educate them along the way to prevent further injury. With her own bouts of injuries, Dr. Leon has experienced first hand the effectiveness of chiropractic care and its benefits for overall health from an early age.
After attending La Habra High School, she continued her education at Cal State Fullerton and received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Studies. This reinforced her interest in sport injuries and helping athletes return to play better and stronger than before. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Leon worked as an exercise specialist where she gained a strong foundation in rehabilitative therapy. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic at University of Western States in Portland, OR. Dr. Leon continues to learn new and effective techniques and is now certified in Active Release Techniques and Selective Functional Movement Assessments to help her give the best care to her patients.
In her off time, Dr. Leon is a sports fanatic, a self- proclaimed foodie, a bike rider, and an aunt and dog mom.
